How do you select your notaries?
All notaries and attorneys we use are what we consider to be “signing agents.” These are persons who have demonstrated familiarity with loan documents, and proficiency with the process of receiving packages, confirming appointments, and returning completed packages.

How do your signing agents go about explaining the documents?
Our guidelines state that signing agents should give “textbook type” answers when identifying various elements of the loan documents. They are directed not to give opinions about the terms of the loan, and to direct any questions about these details to the appropriate contact person at your company.

Can your signing agents receive packages by email?
Many of them are quite proficient with printing electronic documents. Since there are dozens of document formats, we go the extra mile to ensure that the signing agent we choose can receive your particular package.

What are your fees?
Our standard fee structure is competitive and flexible. Some of our established clients opt for a “flat fee” plan to cover certain types of contingencies. Contact us for details!

Do you provide service to private parties?
At this time, we open accounts and grant credit only to qualified businesses (such as established mortgage lenders, title companies, escrow companies, closing attorneys, and loan processing services). If you have been given documents by your lender and need assistance in getting them notarized, we suggest you contact a local “mailbox/shipping-type store.” Many of these have notaries on staff who can help you. Please also give your lender our phone number!

Do you handle anything other than mortgage loan documents?
Although our current focus is on the various types of the mortgage loans, we are open to suggestions! With a network of over 12,000 signing agents across the country, we have a unique capability to perform other tasks. Contact us if you have a proposal.
